World’s third-largest TV manufacturer, TCL has announced its new range of Curve, Ultra HD and Full HD TV series, which are available in the Indian market exclusively on Amazon.in. The new TV series will be available on pre-booking, and registration commences from July 28. The company is also set to introduce its TCL 562 smartphone with a diamond cut design and a 5.5-inch full HD IPS screen. TCL will offer its range of five Televisions and two Smartphones portfolio of products in India starting first week of August.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Praveen Valecha, Regional Director – TCL India, said, “Our entry into the smartphones and television category in India is a strategic move that reinforces our commitment to lead technology and innovation. The number of consumers adopting smarter, wireless technology in the country is on the rise and we anticipate a huge increase in smartphone users. TCL TV range starts at Rs.13990 and Mobile range starts at Rs.7499.”
TCL Range of Television’s:
TCL D2900 series of Televisions include two models in 40-inch and 32-inch screen sizes. All models feature an ASIC processor and a 1080p video quality. The D2900 series comes fitted with 2 USB and HDMI ports. Other features include – all time Running Dynamic Skin color and Blue color control, Black level stretch for Contrast level enhancement, 3-D Chrome Filter, Dolby surround sound and 3D Adaptive De-interlacing to reduce De-Mosaic Noise. The 32-inch model is priced at Rs 13,990 and the 40-inch model for Rs 20,990.
TCL P1 series features 48-inch Curved/Flat Full HD Smart TV. The overall thickness of the tv is 69.6mm. This series includes features like screen mirroring, built-in-Wifi, Wi-Fi direct and an App store. The music system in the series is Dolby Digital AC3, and Dolby Prologic II surround sound. The curved version of the TV is available for Rs 37,990 and the flat screen version at Rs 31,990 on Amazon.

TCL 562 smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD IPS screen with 84.4 degree view angle with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The phone runs on a octa-core Helio P10 Chipset processor, and has a 32GB internal memory and 3GB RAM. A 2960mAh battery powers the phone, which also features a fingerprint sensor. Connectivity in the phone comes with Cat4 LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.2. The phone will be priced at Rs 10,990 on Amazon.
