Here’s what Upendra Kushwaha said:

Bade bhai (Lalu Prasad) had ruined higher education during RJD rule, while chote bhai (Nitish Kumar) demolished the education system itself,” Kushwaha said in recent PTI report.

“After the publication of matric and intermediate results the matter is coming out in the shape of a scam, “he added.

This year also, after the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) announced the class 12 results 2017 (Intermediate) another topper scam came to light.

The real face of Bihar education board is still the same. Out of 12,40,168 students who appeared in the class 12 board exams, 7,94,622 students failed the examination.

Moreover, Ganesh Kumar from Ram Nandan Singh Jagdeep Narayan Higher Secondary School in Samastipur who secured the first position in Arts stream with 82.60 per cent did not even know the basics of the subject.

While speaking to Rohit Kumar Singh of India Today, Ganesh said:

“I don’t know much about music. I just attended a couple of music classes in the last two years that I spent in college before appearing for the intermediate exam.” He further added, “I never thought I would become a topper in Bihar Board. I was a satisfactory student but never thought that I would top the exams.”

Chairman of Bihar School Examination Board, Anand Kishore on Bihar board results:

While speaking to India Today, Anand Kishore, Chairman of Bihar School Examination Board, said, “This year the pass percentage has gone down as we had put in place stringent process right from filling the examination forms till evaluation. We depended completely on technology and tried to plug any kind of loopholes. Bar coding of answer sheets was used, many other measures were taken to ensure free and fair exams.”

This is not just the case of Bihar class 12 results, after the class 10 board results were declared, shockingly 49 per cent students failed the exam, with only 14 per cent passing with first division.
