How to prepare lamb Ghana Jollof

Lamb jollof (Telandeworld)



½ kg of long grain rice.

½ kilo of lamb

1 cup of green onion, chopped

½  cup of Parsley and Some mint leaves, chopped

1 teaspoon ground ginger or fresh ginger

2 onions, chopped

black Pepper

Thyme leaves

3 to 4 bay leaves

1  Bouillon cube

2 onions

1 garlic, crushed

½  bell pepper, crushed

Vegetable oil

Fresh Tomatoes, mashed

Tablespoons of tomato paste

Water and salt




Chop meat into sizes, wash and marinate with spices.

Cook meat over medium high until brown. Stir in ½ of the onion, tomato paste, coriander, cumin and garlic powder.

Cook until onion is tender.

Process the remaining onions, tomato and red pepper in food processor until smooth. Stir into lamb. Simmer 40 minutes.

Stir in rice and simmer until rice and lamb is tender, about 20 minutes longer.
